One of my favourite place in Milan is the arco della pace (ark of the peace). With Brera it’s the most romantic area, full of nice corners, amusing pubs and delicious restaurants. It looked like the perfect place for my outfit of the day: grey balloon skirt mixed to a top of the same colour, to create the effect of an only piece, cream sweater closed by a satin bow, dot tights, Chanel bag, braid and lace collar. This last one is a new piece I want to use a lot in my outfits: the inspiration came from Miu Miu new collection which created shirt collars of different patterns to be worn with dresses and tshirts. This collar was from my grandma and It’s such a particular piece which adapted so well to the tones and style of the day. Have I already mentioned how I love wearing clothes and accessories of my grandma or mum? Vintage clothes have an amazing fascination, they have a story inside them, and if these were worn by grandma or mum they have the family story inside. Looking at old photos in which my mum was wearing the new dress holding me because I was a baby makes me feel completely happy, because I’m wearing that dress right now and I appreciate it more than any new dresses. My passion for fashion comes from my mum and grandma, wearing clothes worn by them as well makes me feel perfect in every occasion. I have to thank you for the success of this blog, mum and grandma 🙂

Uno dei miei posti preferiti a Milano è sicuramente l’arco della pace.E’, insieme a Brera, la zona più romantica, piena di angoli suggestivi, locali divertenti e deliziosi ristoranti. Mi è sembrato uno dei posti più adatti per il mio outfit del giorno: gonna a palloncino grigia abbinata ad una canottierina dello stesso colore quasi da creare l’effetto di un pezzo unico, maglioncino color crema chiuso da un fiocco di raso, collants a pois, borsa Chanel, treccia e colletto in pizzo. Quest’ultimo è un nuovo pezzo che intendo sfruttare spesso nei miei outfit: l’ispirazione è arrivata dalla nuova collezione di Miu Miu che ha creato colletti di camicia in fantasie colorate da indossare sopra vestiti e tshirt.
Questo colletto era di mia nonna ed è un pezzo veramente particolare che bene si adattava ai toni e allo stile del giorno. Vi ho già detto quanto adoro indossare abiti e accessori di mia nonna o mia mamma? I vestiti vintage hanno un fascino tutto loro, hanno una storia alle spalle, e se questi sono stati indossati dalla nonna o dalla mamma hanno dentro a se la storia della famiglia. Riguardare vecchie foto in cui mia mamma sfoggiava il nuovo vestito tenendomi in braccio mi fa spuntare un sorriso a 32 denti, perchè quel vestito ora lo sto indossando io e lo apprezzo più di qualsiasi abito nuovo. E’ a mia mamma e a mia nonna che devo sicuramente la mia passione per la moda, e indossare pezzi sfoggiati anche da loro mi fa sentire perfetta in ogni occasione.
