Among the other shows I had the pleasure to be invited to the Narciso Rodriguez show, in which the shoes were all designed by one of my favourite shoe designer, Diego Dolcini. All particular with high attention to the details and to the material, all really precious. I fell in love with the 3 colours booties and to the last looks, with the draped fluttering skirts.
Tra le altre sfilate ho avuto il piacere di essere stata invitata allo show di Narciso Rodriguez, per il quale le calzature erano state tutte disegnate da uno dei miei shoe designer preferiti, Diego Dolcini. Tutte particolari e con un’alta attenzione ai dettagli e ai materiali, tra i più preziosi.
Mi sono innamorata degli stivaletti bicolori (e tricolori) e degli ultimi look, con le gonne drappeggiate e svolazzanti.
NARCISO RODRIGUEZ
At Ralph Lauren presentation I had the opportunity to have a preview of the accessories of fall 2012 at the boutique on Madison Avenue. Quite impressed but not surprised by the amount of pieces I liked. Starting from the structured and jewelled heels to the gold snake belt, from the leopard pony print purse to the purple crocodile bag.
Nel mio quinto giorno di fashion week newyorkese sono stata alla presentazione degli accessori Ralph Lauren per l’inverno 2012 presso la boutique su Madison Avenue. Sono rimasta colpita ma non sorpresa dalla quantità di pezzi che mi son piaciuti. A partire dai tacchi ingioiellati e strutturati fino alla cintura dorata a forma di serpente, dalla borsa in cavallino leopardata a quella in coccodrillo viola.
RALPH LAUREN ACCESSORIES PRESENTATION
After the presentation I went to the Michael Kors show. With a soundtrack that really fitted my music taste (the songs were by Coldplay) it really catched my interest from the first moment. Warm fabrics like mohair and cozy tones matched with plaid checks and striped ponchos Michael Kors convinced me that I can’t wait it to be winter again!
Dopo la presentazione sono andata allo show di Michael Kors. Con una colonna sonora che incarnava perfettamente i miei gusti musicali (le canzoni erano dei Coldplay) lo show ha davvero catturato il mio interesse dal primo istante. Tessuti caldi come il mohair e toni accoglienti abbinati a poncho a scacchi e a righe, grazie a Michael Kors non vedo l’ora sia di nuovo inverno!
MICHAEL KORS
The show of Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti was one of my favourite and it was held on the first floor of one of the big halls of the Lincoln Center. At the beginning and at the end of the catwalk two escalators brought up and down the models, that literally took my breath away. The clothes were stunning, designing the perfect feminine silhouette with pale colors. Highlights to the metallic studded shoes and to the skirt ebrodereid with pearls.
Lo show di Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti è stato uno dei miei preferiti e si è tenuto al primo piano di uno delle grandi halls del Lincoln Center. All’inizio e alla fine della passerella due scale mobili portavano su e giù le modelle, che mi hanno letteralmente lasciata senza respiro. I vestiti disegnavano la perfetta silhouette femminile con colori pallidi. Particolare attenzione alle decollette metallizzate e borchiate e alla gonna ricamata con perle.
PHILOSOPHY BY ALBERTA FERRETTI
The last show of the day was Milly by Michelle Smith. I think the show was great, it brought the chic parisian style to the fancy avenue of uptown, with colors contrasts such as shocking pink (which was in one of my favourite dresses) and yellow. Also the little black dress with the wheel around the waist and the one with transparent dots shoulder were among my favourites.
L’ultimo show della giornata è stato Milly by Michelle Smith. Credo che la sfilata sia stata grande, portando lo stile chic parigino nelle strade alla moda di uptown, con contrasti di colore come il rosa shocking (come uno dei miei vestiti preferiti) e giallo. Anche il vestitino nero con la ruota in vita e quello con le spalle a pois trasparente sono stati tra i miei preferiti dello show.
