Who’s hungry? – Smoothie Mango & Pomegranate

smoothie3

Today we inaugurate a new weekly appointment, a new agenda that I would like to call “Who’s Hungry?”. From the name you can clearly understand that it will be an agenda totally dedicated to the art of cooking..a reality not too familiar to me 😉
After the experience of The Blonde Chef  I told to myself: “why shouldn’t I give you all some interesting suggestions on how to make some fresh and simple recipes for the weekend?”. Thus, with the help of Giacomo Addario, young brilliant chef, foodie and globetrotter, we have made this great mix: Smoothie Mango and Pomegranate.
You need a recipe for hangovers or something to refresh your breakfast after a hard night? Simple! Make a smoothie 🙂
You need:
1 Mango
1 Big and juicy pomegranate
1 cup of almond milk (or simple milk, as you prefer)

Pick the grains from pomegranate, cut the mango and put them with the milk in a container. With the help of a minipimer make a smooth cream and if you want you can add sugar or milk in order to obtain the consistency you like the most.
Small advice: sometimes it happens that pomegranate’s grain have a seed that is not simple to blend, so, instead of putting the grains with the other ingredients you can squeeze them and use the juice obtained.
