Now that the crazy fashion weekends are over, it’s time to make relax our one and only keyword. The best way to have your deserved recovery from the fashion weeks is travelling to one of those places where the mere sight makes you feel in peace. Italy, in particular, is full of places like that, but the one that TBS loves the most is the Braies Lake.
The Braies Lake is the closest thing to those fantasy places that we usually see in “Game of Thrones”, to the point that its magical atmospheres will give you a real break from reality. The lake is located in Südtirol in the province of Bozen, close to the homonym town of Braies. It’s since a couple of years the fav destination of every Insta addicted thanks to its breath-taking views that are the settings of some of the most amazing travel shots on the net.
The best period to visit Braies is from April to October if you’re not into the cold weather that much and you want to admire the green spectacle of its woods. On the contrary the winter period is enchanting for all those who loves snow. The mountain nearby are reflected in a unique body of water.
The activities to do on the Braies Lake are many, except for the pictures of course! First of all the sport activities (remember that the lake isn’t a swimming one for its super cold temperatures) but also trekking and excursions. Let’s not forget, however, our main goal at the Braies Lake: relax.
