Wang Jiao (Via Padova, 3). Just a few steps from Loreto subway station (there are 2 more around the city) this is, according to the true enthusiasts, one of the best restaurants in town. The must-try dishes are the fresh tagliatelle and the lacquered duck!
Dim Sum (Via Nino Bixio, 29). The first thing that will catch your eye is the environment, luxurious and quite not traditional! The real China is found in the bamboo baskets filled with impeccably presented traditional delicatessen.
Ta Hua (Via Fara, 15). This very central restaurant is defined the temple of authentic Chinese cuisine. Their highlight dish? Besides the traditional dumplings, it’s definitely the bakery.
Mandarin 2 (Via Garofalo, 22). Not the usual Chinese restaurant, but a fusion reinterpretation that combines the classics of Asian and Italian. Just a suggestion: always make a reservation!
Mao Hunan (Via Nicola Antonio Porpora, 5). Do you love the strong flavors of Chinese cuisine? This is the restaurant for you. With all the traditional dishes and the chef’s originality, you’ll really feel like being in Beijing. And if we still haven’t convinced you, just know that the clientele of this restaurant is mostly Chinese!
Lon Fon (Via Lazzaretto, 10). Excellent, absolutely excellent. Above the average of other Chinese restaurants as far as quality and courtesy of the staff. Even though the space is relatively small, it’s the food that makes the difference. Crabmeat au gratin and the famous ginger ice-cream are a must try!
