The Award Season continues as scheduled with the 28th Critics Choice Awards held Sunday night at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. The ceremony honored the year in film and television, with great triumph of A24’s “Everything Everywhere All at Once” – leading the nominations for film with an impressive 14 while ABC’s “Abbott Elementary” – a true revelation already at the Golden Globes – garnered 6 nominations. Confirming triumphs and triumphants: Zendaya wins again for Euphoria as well as Jeremy Allen White for “The Bear” and Jennifer Coolidge for “The White Lotus”.

The evening was hosted by the irreverent Chelsea Handler, taking over from actor Taye Diggs, host of the last four editions. In addition to the usual categories that you will find in the list below, two special awards were presented: Janelle Monáe, who received the #SeeHer award, while Jeff Bridges was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
