Super small and cute, tiny bags are the real revolution of the accessories for this Spring/Summer…as well as the most wanted by every fashion addict.
For a few seasons now, we saw them on the runways in every colours and shape but not in every dimension! The lowest common denominator for all is, indeed, the size that is super small when it deals with this new celebrities and It-Girls’ obsession. The trend wants them not only mini but to be used matched with their bigger twins, like Chanel does. The double bag is another great trend for this seasons and what better choice than a micro bag to prove it!
In addition to Chanel’s Mini Flap bag with a pearls chain, with which we’ve fallen in love, many are the brands that added this little gems in their collections: Jacquemus is at the front row with its iconic Chiquito, that has become the trendsetter par excellence of this mania; as well as the Petit Baci which is a more summery straw alternative proposed by the French brand.
Louis Vuitton launched the mini Twist PM, using a new kind of seams that recall, in a mini and super cute version, the wicker chairs of the Parisian cafes in different trendy nuances. Also, Gucci re-designed its ultimate masterpiece, the Dyonisus bag, using some colourful shades and patterns and of course a mini size for its Summer collection.
To them we can add the Sculpture Small bag by Off-White, with the iconic striped and bicolor pattern and Miu Miu, with its Crystals Fringe Micro bag for a more eveningwear proposal. Let’s not forget about the historic Mini Kelly by Hermes and the super new entry in the Prada home, with an oval shape that revisits the iconic nylon bag that made the Milanese Maison famous in the world.
