Interpreted and designed by Miranda Makaroff, the brand’s illustrator and actress, the Fall / Winter 2020 collection by Desigual is an invitation to fun, imagination and escape from this very different and complicated 2020. Desigual and Miranda Makaroff become ambassadors of a project that invites everyone to leave the earth and take refuge in the “Planet Escape” where Desigual garments are the protagonists of an unexplored world that takes Christmas celebrations to a new and colourful level. Vibrant colors, prints of female bodies fused with anthropomorphic characters and lots of humor are the keywords of a collection that we are sure you will not wait to discover.
As in a movie, in the Desigual FW 20 campaign, a group of friends, Mirandella, Rossy Odyssy and Space Kittyna decide to leave reality and embark on an intergalactic journey on an unknown planet, in which they will discover themselves immersed in a magical, festive and mystified nature. Loose models alternate with slimmer silhouettes that highlight feminine shapes, the prints are unconventional and mix symmetrical kisses, animals and anthropomorphic characters and many, many positive vibes.
The color palette also recalls the mood of a fantastic journey: lemon yellow, light pink, purple iris are combined with ivory white and black to create new optical effects. High-neck stretch shirts, tricot sweaters, cropped culottes, semi-transparent mini dresses and unisex shirts are some of the must-haves of the collection. Designed for fun and escapism, the Desigual FW 20 collection is perfect for any occasion, to wear in our favorite everyday looks or to give a twist to the usual festive looks made of sequins and sequins.
