Schiaparelli’s latest Haute Couture show unfolds as a journey through space and time, impeccably narrating the innovation and heritage of the historic fashion house founded by Elsa. On the runway, the fascinating connection between the fashion house and astronomy emerges, starting with Giovanni Schiaparelli (the founder’s uncle), who discovered mysterious channels on Mars in 1877. This affinity with space and astrology was the main focus of the entire collection, complementing the craftsmanship of the garments in a perfect mashup with elements of the new world.
Among the standout details is the inclusion of technological elements, such as the microchip dress, which has already gone viral.
The new Schiaparelli imagery by Daniel Roseberry aims to constantly blend the past and the future, celebrating the past with extreme authenticity.
