The great trend that in the ’90s was a craze, becoming the obsession of all the It-Girls of that time, is back: beads are a must-have and we’re already crazy about it!
Colourful and shiny, beads are making the news again: fashion proves it and Instagram too. Together with shells and mother of pearl, beads are the fav element of trendy necklaces and bracelets to wear with no rules except that of “ the more the better”. Perk up your neck with many and many rows of beads regardless of colours and shapes and the ore their style is baby inspired the better. What does it mean? Big plastic beads in rainbow nuances, like the ones chosen by Carolina Bucci for her jewellery line. Many are the brands that are using them in their SS 19 collections like the fresh, new and super cool jewellery collection Valentina Ferragni X Rue des Mille, made of beads and sterling silver.
Also, the apparel and accessory’s worlds are following the trend with enthusiasm, Shrimps made of it a trademark for its bags proposals, Zara launched in its summer collection a tank top and a crop top made of beads and with them many other brands.
It’s just an alert for now, but we’re sure it will become very soon a real fashion obsession so…stay tuned and don’t say we didn’t warn you!
