There will certainly be no shortage of leather jackets, oversized sweaters, boots, scarves and very long coats in soft shades of color (just like the ones we saw on the Max Mara runway). Then, Fausto Puglisi’s creative flair for Roberto Cavalli becomes a tale of Y2K aesthetics, the fashion system seems no longer to want to do without. Low-waisted and flared jeans, total denim looks and the irreplaceable animalier – the absolute emblem of the heritage of this well-known Italian fashion house. A very similar vibe can be found during Glenn Martens’ show for Diesel, while quite different appears the vision of brands such as JW Anderson, N21 and Burberry. In these cases it would seem to triumph, especially on some looks, a minimalist style that often seems to make use of monochrome as a safe and versatile choice for an elegant and sophisticated look. At Etro, on the other hand, a perfect mix of bohemian 70s style, geometric patterns and a bold color palette.
