Our 5 favorite interior design stores in London

London is undoubtedly one of the favorite shopping destinations of TheBlondeSalad.com team, especially during the Christmas holidays. This time we’ll take you through the streets of the British capital to show you our 5 favorite interior design stores.

De Gournay (112 Old Church Street). This monobrand store in South Kensinghton is famous for its hand painted wallpapers that between dream places and oriental inspirations will engage you in marvellous travels without even leaving your own living room.

Conran Shop (Michelin House, 81 Fulham Road). Chelsea’s Conran shop (there are others all around the city and some even in Japan!) occupies today the building of the former Michelin headquarters. Built at the beginning of the 1900’s in typical style Art Nouveau, it offers design accessories with different purposes, from small gift ideas to furniture for the living room and kitchen.

Fandango interiors (2 Cross Street, London). Moving towards the East side of London, we find this mainly vintage furniture store: from lighting straight from the Seventies to more unusual furniture.

Assouline (196A Piccadilly, St. James’s). Books don’t just cherish knowledge nowadays, they also serve as true design accessories. It’s the successful case of this historic British publishing house that enjoys the favor of renowned luxury brands such as Valentino and Louis Vuitton, that chose it to collect their memories. Furthermore, this publishing house enhances its offer with classic design elements at the space Maison Assouline.

Liberty (Regent Street). If you are late with your home Christmas decorations, inside this famous Tudor style department store you’ll find a wide range of products for all tastes.
