The mystery of Maddalena on display at Musei San Domenico in Forlì

It’s entitled Maddalena. The mystery and the image and is the unmissable event that puts on display at the San Domenico Museums in Forlì, over 200 masterpieces – from the third century. d.c. to the twentieth century – as an intimate investigation on the eternal charm of Maria di Màgdala, a woman whose existence is deeply intertwined with the faith of the first Christian communities in history. An exhibition, a journey that tries to answer the eternal question: who really was Maddalena?

The figure of Mary Magdalene is certainly one of the most emblematic and mysterious, her mystery is the starting point of many studies that still today bring new interpretative keys.  Art, literature and cinema have dedicated hundreds of works to her.
