WHERE DO CELEBS GO SKIING? ALL THE MOUNTAIN DESTINATIONS WHERE YOU COULD MEET THEM

As much as you can be a ski lover, some of our most beloved celebs take refuge in dreamlike places where skiing is only a side activity to luxurious landscapes and breathtaking views. Basically, it doesn’t need to be emphasized, what better cuddle for our icons of a high-class mountain location? Once the double black diamond’s slope launches are over, what is needed is relaxation, luxury boutiques, spas and the most luxurious restaurants or hotels that have chosen the ski slopes of the most desirable mountains on earth as a cradle. But then where do you have to go for a hot chocolate in a chalet with a celeb? Here are the most luxurious ski resorts where you can meet them:

ST. MORITZ, SWITZERLAND

Considered one of the most luxurious ski resorts on the planet, St. Moritz has always been the favourite destination of celebs from all over the world. But we will tell you more, the affluence of important personalities in this gem of the Upper Engadine is rooted in its history, as it is assiduously frequented by the main European royal families and Hollywood icons. Its main street, Via Serlas, is somewhat reminiscent of the famous Milanese Montenapoleone and the boutiques that live there are no less! Between hot tea at King’s Club and a few off-track in the woods, Chanel, Bulgari, Pucci and Dior await you to choose the perfect outfit to wear on one of the sparkling evenings at the Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski.

ASPEN, COLORADO USA

Historic ski destination of the most modern Hollywood stars, Aspen is a mountain gem completely made in the USA. In particular, during the Christmas and New Year period, thanks to the social evenings that it hosts, meeting a world star or taking a selfie together will be like drinking a glass of water. Here too, of course, luxury is not lacking, Aspen is home to one of the most luxurious mountain hotels in the world, The Little Nell, and some of the ski resorts with the coolest high-altitude restaurants on the planet. Unlike European cities, however, despite being a super luxury destination, Aspen does not have that snobbish soul that often risks meeting overseas, indeed the choice is very wide and the mood is completely cosy.

COURCHEVEL, FRANCE

Located at the end of one of the largest ski areas in the world, Les 3 Vallées, Courchevel is an enchanted place made up of 4 small villages. Among its peaks is one of the best snow covers in Europe and a 5-star hotel whose splendour has nothing to envy from the Parisian capital. Furthermore, Courchevel is the destination of some of the greatest gastronomic connoisseurs as it hosts some of the best Michelin starred restaurants. But not only … obviously, luxury is the master and shows it firmly with boutiques like Prada, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, Tom Ford and many others.

LECH, AUSTRIA

Austria, although often not chosen as the first ski destination, hosts enviable places and tracks. In particular, near Lech there are many celebrities including the Beckhams, to enjoy the peace and tranquillity that only a place still in the past can give. Here, in fact, everything seems to have remained to how the luxury ski resorts of the past were: bakers, milkmen and bakers carry out their activities mixing with royalty and stars from all over the world, who can enjoy relaxation and top-level ski slopes.

WHISTLER- BLACKCOMB, CANADA

Set in a fairy natural landscape, Whistler-Blackcomb is a paradise where nature and luxury coexist perfectly. Its vegetation is unique in the world, and among its expanses of pine trees immersed in the snow, you can also see moose, deer and bears. It houses some of the most prestigious high-class hotel chains in the world such as Four Seasons and Westin and some of the best restaurants in all of Canada. The real gem of Whistler Blackcomb? The après-ski is considered one of the most exciting in North America.
