Last night we witnessed the magical event of awarding the Golden Globes. This year, among successful films and television series, we witnessed an increase in the number of awards given out.
Among the motion pictures, The Fabelmans and The Banshees of Inisherin were awarded, while Abbott Elementary, House of the Dragon, and The White Lotus were undoubtedly the most popular television series. Individual winners, for their masterfully interpreted roles, include Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Jennifer Coolidge, Steven Spielberg, Angela Bassett, Ke Huy Quan, Colin Farrell, Michelle Yeoh, Julia Garner, Zendaya, Guillermo del Toro, Cate Blanchett, and Austin Butler.
The 2023 edition of this event returns to shine live on NBC. A return that was not entirely expected since last year the network had refused to air the Golden Globes following an article in the Los Angeles Times regarding the HFPA’s unethical, uninclusive conduct and suspect finances.
This has been a magical year, both on the small and big screen. There is no better opportunity to enjoy the charms of some of the award-winning films and television series-obviously doing so from the comfort of home seems to be attracting us more and more. Beware though, there are plenty of titles not yet available on demand.
We know of plenty of on-demand streaming services that can allow us to watch movies and TV series at any time, without the need to follow a specific broadcast schedule and/or necessarily move. There are many services, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max (in Italy NOW), and many others, each with its own library of content.
So today if you want to watch a newly released movie or series, you probably don’t need to go to a movie theater. Using one of these services you can stream at home what you most want.
