From the cold of Milano to the Yucatan’s sun, where I’ll spend the end of this amazing 2013 and the start of another wonderful (I hope) 2014.
These are the photos from yesterday, first day spent exploring this place out of time: we started from Uxmal ruins to spend the afternoon in the private Hacienda Xocnaceh, where we had lunch in the ruins of an old church, built another pyramid and swam in an old tank which is now a pool. Unforgettable day that made me even more excited for the next days 🙂
Dalle temperature gelide di Milano al sole dello Yucatan, dove trascorrerò la fine di questo meraviglioso 2013 e l’inizio di uno splendido (spero) 2014.
Queste le foto di ieri, primo giorno passato ad esplorare questo luogo fuori dal tempo: siamo partiti dalle rovine di Uxmal per poi passare il pomeriggio nell’Hacienda privata Xocnaceh, dove abbiamo pranzato in quello che rimane di un’antica chiesa, scalato un’altra piramide e fatto il bagno in un’antica cisterna trasformata poi in piscina. Giornata meravigliosa, che mi ha riempita ancora più di entusiasmo per i prossimi giorni 🙂
