Chanel Seoul Cruise Hair & Makeup

#ChanelCruiseSeoul: if we had any doubt of what the hashtag of the day would be, checking Instagram w’ve got the answer. Da qualche ora infatti the Internet is  scattered with pictures of the much anticipated Cruise 2016 Chanel show, that took place in Seoul in front of super selected audience (including Gisele Bündchen). To better see the collection, we’ll have to wait for the official photos, but just by following the hashtag you can already admire the wonderful makeup and hairstyles that models wore on the catwalk, created by the hairstylist Sam McKnight.

Inspired by the typical hairstyles of the Korean noble families; top models wore in fact black wigs with elaborated braids forming side buns or crowns around the head. The makeup by Tom Pecheux included thick  eyebrows defined by a double layer of pencil, white kajal and black mascara applied only on one part of the lashes, while the rest keep a natural color. The tones of the lips mirror the  colours of the dresses inspired by the colourful Korean lanterns. In the gallery some previews…and if you want to see more, just follow the hashtag!
