Halloween makeup: go for catwalk looks

The scariest holiday of the year is coming, and even though not all of us might want to wear masks or dress up, we can still have some fun during the night of the spirits by wearing the kind of makeup that will make us look like we are straight out of a nightmare, letting loose the darkest streaks in our creativity. To find the right kind of inspiration for your Halloween makeup, we can look at the runways  once again, where designers and makeup artists sometimes have fun crerating makeup looks that would be kinda hard to wear in our daily life anyway.

So, why not use Halloween as the perfect time to get daring with something different, and most of all, totally exaggerate with dark hues, or really  bright reds?  Fenty x Puma, Aalto and Marc Jacobs‘s rigorously black lipsticks are one of the first ideas to come to mind; while red lipstick lovers should definitely go for eye-catching, sheer glosses, as seen at Philipp Plein‘s show. If you’re not so familiar with brushes, you can just try to recreate a smudged look, Vfiles-style, or place appliques on your eyelashes or on your lips, like Fournie HC and Gucci did. Last but not least, you can also just choose a different kind of eye makeup for each eye, as they did at Yamamoto‘s: it’s a very simple idea, but it will definitely have an impact on the people around you!
