Fashion has always been considered one of the strongest economic and cultural engines in Italy, in this dramatic moment for the country, in which any help is needed, it also has not backed down. The Coronavirus emergency, in fact, is severely testing the strength of our country’s hospitals, and fashion brands or icons have decided to help them with charitable initiatives and donations to try to stem the damage caused as much as possible. There are many characters who have put their faces on it, not only to actively participate in the containment of the health emergency but also in the hope of encouraging each of us as much as possible to make even a small gesture of help.
Among the first to exploit the power of sharing, Chiara Ferragni and Fedez, who launched an online fundraiser for the creation of new intensive care units, in collaboration with the San Raffaele hospital in Milan. The fundraising reached almost 3 million Euros in less than 24 hours, and to date, almost 5 have been collected in about 8 days.

The Kering and LVMH groups, of which the vast majority of luxury brands are owned, certainly did not remain on the sidelines: Kering donated € 2 million to Italian hospitals. LVMH, on the other hand, has set aside the production of perfumes to convert all its plants to the production of a disinfectant gel to be supplied free of charge. The gel will be made available to the French authorities and to a network of 39 university hospitals
Along with their many other names stand out: Elisabetta Franchi, Coccinelle, Bulgari, Marco Bizzarri and Malloni all united to support Italian hospitals.
