Today, on his birthday, we celebrate one of the most pop artists around the world. We are of course talking about Justin Bieber, singer born in 1994, whose career began – even as a child – when he was discovered thanks to YouTube by talent scout Scooter Braun.
His first album, ‘My World 2.0’, was released in 2010 and proved an instant success. In fact, it reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Specifically, however, the single ‘Baby’ reached the top ten of many charts around the world, and is considered the artist’s biggest hit. From here, Justin Bieber began his successful career, releasing albums such as ‘Believe’ in 2012, ‘Purpose’ in 2015 and ‘Changes’ in 2020. In addition, Justin has won many awards over the years, including several Billboard Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards and Grammy Awards.
Also well known to the media were some of his love affairs, among them the one with Selena Gomez and Hailey Baldwin, who later became his wife in 2018. Their wedding – held in a private chapel in New York City – was one of the most anticipated and talked-about events that year.
Recently, the well-known singer announced that he was suffering from the rare Ramsay-Hunt syndrome, a neurological disorder resulting from severe consequences of the Herpes Zoster virus, the same one that causes chickenpox. For this reason, Bieber was forced to cancel his recent tours, as this virus attacked the ear nerve, the facial nerves, causing facial paralysis.
While waiting for his recovery, we look forward to seeing him perform live again soon.
