On the occasion of the baby’s first birthday last May 13, Rocky shared a series of intimate family photos on Instagram. In the caption, Rocky confirmed recent rumors that the baby was named after Wu-Tang Clan artist and frontman, rapper RZA precisely.
Then, a birth certificate obtained by “The Daily Mail” reveals that the baby’s full name is RZA Athelston Mayers. Btw, the middle name is similar to that of daddy A$AP Rocky, whose full name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers. Although Rihanna is wont to keep her private life and all work details-specifically those about her upcoming album private, she seems to have dropped a hint about her firstborn’s name by wearing a T-shirt that read RZA during an appearance in New York City in August 2022, a few months after the birth of her son.
Thus, pop star Rihanna and Rocky welcomed their son last May 13, 2022, after about two years of dating and a long friendship. The couple is currently expecting their second child, and Rihanna announced the news during her performance at the last Super Bowl halftime show last February.
