The Kardashians are one of the most famous and wealthiest families in the world, with a net worth of over $2 billion. When it comes to the Kardashian clan, and Jenner obv., many of us wonder why they are so loved and famous. The Jenner side of the clan is the family that Kris and Caitlyn Jenner have built together over the years – before Caitlyn’s transition – with their daughters Kendall and Kylie.
The Kardashians’ popularity literally exploded in 2007, when the popular reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, now The Kardashians, first aired.
The original show, created by Ryan Seacrest, was mainly focused – like the one still on air today – on the personal and professional lives of all the members of this very large family. The Kardashians, famous for being famous, came to fame a few years earlier when in 1994 the late Robert Kardashian senior – Kris Jenner’s ex-husband and father of Kourtney, Kim and Khloé – found himself defending O.J. Simpson against murder charges.
Today, the new show about the Kardashian family is airing on Disney+, amidst new love stories, divorces, work successes and scandals. But why does watching the lives of people living in multi-million dollar homes so closely fascinate us? There are those who love them, those who hate them and those who are totally indifferent, but it is certainly inevitable that each of us knows at least one member of this family.
Kim, her mother and sisters are respected by many for their work, their strong personalities and above all for being true to who they are, often including superficiality. The main values of the Kardashian-Jenner clan certainly include family, the mastery of marketing oneself and workaholism – certainly not of all members.
