VMA 2016: the best celebrity looks of the evening (and more)

The MTV Video Music Awards took place yesterday, and we could summarize them like this: there were epic performances, dream gowns and prizes and tributes aplenty. The two stars of the night were, without a doubt, Rihanna — who opened the show and won the Michael Jackson Award, which honors exceptional career achievements — and Beyoncé, who totally ruled the show: with 8 awards won, she is now the winner of the most awards in MTV Awards history. As well as gossip — anyone missed the news about Drake and Rihanna kissing? — it was the red carpet that made the news, and deserves some of our attention. Some outfits were minimalistic and sober, some were elegant, others were sumptuous, both when walking down the red carpet and during the show. While the awards have already been handed out, we really can’t make up our mind on who was the best dressed of the VMA 2016 edition!
