THE BEST LOS ANGELES’ FLEA MARKETS

Loved by Chiara Ferragni and all the other fashion addicts out there, find out the top 3 of our fav Los Angeles’ Flea markets

Fav destination of every fashion addict, Los Angeles is the chore of some of the trendiest flea markets in the world.  The City of Angels is, indeed, not only popular for its long walks in Beverly Hills, the hikes around Hollywood and the Malibu seaside, but also for the crazy shopping sprees it offers.

Let’s face it: also (and above all) on holiday, shopping is one of our fav hobbies! Often, however when we don’t know a place very well we’re used to shop in the usual malls or in the boutiques’ streets where we can, increasingly, find the same shops that we have just around the corner of our houses. What’s the solution? Leaving with an empty luggage and a note on the smartphone with all those unmissable markets to visit almost once in a lifetime.

Here’s our top 3 of our fav flea markets in Los Angeles that you need to discover (and visit) to live a real Made In Cali It-Girl experience.

THE ROSE BOWL LOS ANGELES’ FLEA MARKET, the most historic

For more than 40 years, is one of the most famous flea market in the world as well as one of Chiara’s fav. With more than 2.500 vendors, the Rose Bowl offers an extensive selection of antiques, collectibles, furniture and vintage clothing. Clothes and holiday gifts are the real gem of this market with some unusual proposals and novelties that make it a real premier choice. What, also, makes it less “flea” is that you have the possibility of becoming a Rose Bowl Flea VIP member and get even more comforts. This market encourges to spend an entire day here, thanks to the super yummy proposals of its food court: Danishes and Cinnamon rolls for the most sweet tooth, açai bowls for the healtiest, gourmet pretzels for the savoury lovers but also frozen lemonades, smoothies, energy drinks and delicious cocktails and beers.

THE MELROSE TRADING POST LOS ANGELES’ FLEA MARKET, the most coveted

Other Chiara’s fav , the Melrose flea market situated in the Fairfax High School, is a place you need to visit if you’re obsessed with the retro style. At the Melrose you’ll find more than 200 vendors among antiques and collectibles where to shop not only design pieces but also t-shirts, discs and iconic accessories. Between a shopping session and the other, have a refuel at the food court where you can taste all those American delicacies that always make us hungry when seen on Instagram. Moreover, if you’re lucky enough you’ll be able to experience a live Jazz concert with some of the most loyal artists of this historic market.

THE VENTURA LOS ANGELES FLEA MARKET, the most maritime

Even though reaching it could take more time than the others, this ocean located flea market is worth the drive. It takes place every second Sunday of the month and its highlights are plants, glass, clocks, jewerly arts and crafts and other antiques from more than 500 vendors. After your shopping adventure, take your time to have a lunch or dinner at the oceanside in one of its delicious restaurants on the Harbour Boulevard like the Meridian’s Cafè.
