TBS Crew in Mykonos: our trip journal + all the pics

5 days of sea, sun and fun: our trip to  Mykonos has been the best way to begin the holidays all together! Here is our travel diary, day by day featuring the pictures taken by our crew: enjoy!

Day1. Meeting at the airport at 10am and surprisingly everyone is on time: we can’t wait to leave! Unfortunately our flight is delayed and we get to our hotel, the Seaside Cottage Belvedere, around 6.00pm…right in time for the cocktail hour! Loud music and Passion Fruit Mojito: Psarrou Beach will be our set meeting spot during our 4 days in Mykonos…unmissable! Then dinner at the  Hotel Belvedere’s  Thea Restaurant: view of the pool and fusion Mediterranean cuisine, it is just the prelude for a perfect night in the old town. After dinner, a walk through the alleys and a drink in a couple of places 😉

Day2. Good morning Mykonos! Breakfast all together and then we head to Paraga Beach, where we find paradise: a mini beach just for us! It’s time to take the inflatables that we brought from Milan out: a swimming ring, a huge slice of pizza and a flamingo, (inflated thanks to Andrew and the guys!) and with which we have fun taking pictures and tanning rocked by the waves. The day flies and we soon arrive at the cocktail hour: looking at the sunset at the beach listening to chill out music is a dream. We jump on our quads at the very last minute to go back and change for dinner. The restaurant? Italian, or better , one of the best Italian restaurants ever tried…and we say so, you can believe it! Marechiaro got us with the lemon pizza  and pasta with tomato sauce that we get up off the table so full that some of us go back home to sleep. The others? Party until the break of dawn, of course!

Day3. While Chiara, Andrew, Martina and Alessio have a preview of the Six Senses  SPA of the Hotel Belvedere (that will officially open on the next day) we heads towards Agia Anna, where they will meet us for a seafood lunch. We spend the rest of the day relaxing in the shade of the umbrellas – some of us need to regain our strength after last night! – Then we separate at the time of the cocktails:  Chiara and Andrew go see the sunset among the windmills (where they even shoot an amazing look: stay tuned to see the pictures!), while the rest of the crew goes back to the same cocktail spot. We then have dinner at a new little place on the center that offers bio & healty cuisine and then we stop for drinks in one of the bars of the old town. Tonight straight to bed early (almost): tomorrow will be our  last night and we will go all out!

Day 4. Maxi white mattresses and blue water: the beach of Agios Sostis is our choice for this last day at the beach and also for our last Greek lunch. We decide to head back to the hotel early to prepare for the special evening ahead of us: we will visit the new Six Senses  SPA  and then we’ll have dinner at the Nobu restaurant of the Hotel Belvedere. The atmosphere is magic: we’ll have an aperitif with  white wine and finger food by the pool (and good company: Mario Testino is sitting right next to us!), then we enter Nobu for our long (maybe too long!) delicious dinner. We finish at 2 and we are tired but still we decide to head to the center of the old town: it’s our last night here! A quick drink and part of team goes to sleep while the rest stays up till dawn to see the famous  Cavo Paradiso…we can sleep during the whole flight back!

Day5. Last breakfast with a hint of melancholy, a jump in the water for one last swim and then, we are ready to leave: it has been a fantastic trip, Mykonos we will miss you!
