A new must have hat: the beret

Lately we’ve seen it a lot on the runways. From Gucci to Luisa Beccaria (that offer it respecting its vintage allure yet transforming it with colors and materials), from Acne Studios and Maison Margiela, reinterpreting it in and oversize version; from now on the beret represents the hat every fashionista should focus on. Forget beanies, we’ve seen too many already. For us, the beret is the new beanie. It’s for the cool touch it gives even to the least constructed and apparently casual outfit (for example matching it with a pair of large jeans and a polo or, why not, with sweatpants and a sweater) and it is also the perfect accessory for a feminine and a slightly retro look.
