inspiration of the week: rock style

This week, London is in the international spotlight…not only for what happens on the catwalks! The exhibition Rock Style, in fact, inaugurates tomorrow, illustrating the stronger connection between fashion, music and photography. The exhibition is curated by designer Tommy Hilfiger -who celebrates this year the 30th anniversary of his namesake brand- and by the Director of Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, Jeffrey Deitch. David Bowie, Diana Ross, Elvis Presley and Madonna are just some of the names whose personal style became legendary and keeps inspiring designers to this day. Sotheby’s SI2 gallery will host Rock Style from September 22nd to October 30th, 2015. It’s time to plan a trip to London…in the meantime, get inspired by our gallery!
