New York Fashion Week has just ended and after having analysed the Spring Summer 2016 collections, we picked 6 of the top trends to share with you guys! Are you curious to know what awaits you the next season? Red here!
Bright Colours: Summer is also color and brightnes,s so green light to blue, green, red, orange, for both clothes and accessories as seen in Boss, Ralph Lauren and Altuzarra shows.
Crochet: A trend that comes straight from the 1970’s and that we learned to love in the past few years. New York shows made it clear how this will be a must-have even next summer, from the very sophisticated version of Delpozo to the Jamaica-inspired Tommy Hilfiger’s swimsuits.
Silk: If we were to choose a material that will steal the spotlight next summer, that will surely be this one. Flowy and sensual, it follows the movement of the body in the dress as seen at Calvin Klein, but it transforms into a structured jacket as in Givenchy.
Frayed: The new frontier of fringe is in the hems that lose their stitchings transform into decorations, as seen in Delpozo jute tops and Marc Jacobs’ flowy skirts
Naked shoulders: Next season they will be the focus of seduction. The piece to focus on? The top, beautiful, especially if matched with a mid skirt or high-waist pants as seen in Jil Sander Navy, Rachel Zoe and Diesel Black Gold.
