The closing of the hairdressers represented a real drama for many of us in this quarantine period, but there is good news: the hairdressers have reopened! Let’s look at the positives: in this period of detox from too strong hair straighteners and hairstyles, our hair seems to have regained texture and vitality, if we add, then, the time we had to devote to masks and treatments (did you do it right?!) well we can say that our hair is definitely reborn! Will it be time to give us a cut? Keep those of the team “trim” aside and prepare the most daring. Here are the celebs inspired haircuts to try for this Summer 2020:

PIXIE CUT

Also called “a la garçonne” since the 70s, it is the sexy and jaunty cut par excellence. The beautiful Ursula Corbero of La Casa De Papel is now a famous endorser. Admit it after seeing her you dreamed of doing it too, didn’t you? The Pixie Cut is back in vogue and consists of a dishevelled cut, very short on the side areas and which sweeps over the top with variable lengths depending on how you want it. The version with longer tufts on the front is bold but super cool.

MULLET

Another short cut beloved especially after being sported by the iconic Miley Cyrus. The Mullet, also typically male, is a slightly longer cut than the Pixie in which the password is layers. It is in fact a particular type of hairstyle short in front, above and on the sides and long behind. Brave enough?

Needless to say, the bob, lob or wob in whatever way you call it or create it still remains one of the most loved cuts by celebrities and not. You will have seen it for sure in your Instagram feed. Blonde Forelock has less to do with the cut but focuses on colour. It is a beauty trend that mainly involves the brunette and consists of dyeing the front locks of a bright blonde with copper highlights. Dua Lipa did it first and then Brittany Xavier and Bella Throne followed suit.

Did we mention that this is the year of the true volume? Well to demonstrate it the trend that marries the saying “curls for the girls”! Exaggerated and full of curly hair on medium cuts are the passe-partout for a casual and trendy summer, even better if combined with a fringe or part bangs like Selena Gomez.
