What better occasion than the weekend to celebrate the Margarita Day?
Today an ode to the fave celebrities’ cocktail like Jennifer Aniston, Keira Knightley and Barack and Michelle Obama is nothing but compulsary. Problem solver of every respectful happy hour, its tradition has its roots in Mexico and of course in the Tequila, its main ingredient. Its original version is made of 50% Tequila, 25% Triple sec, 25% fresh lime and is the favourite of its most loyal lover like Jennifer Aniston who declared “Justin actually makes the perfect margarita with Don Julio 1942, because there’s no agave, no sugar, no mix. It’s pure tequila, lime juice, and a squinch of Cointreau. It’s delicious!”

FROZEN STRAWBERRY MARGARITA

WHAT YOU NEED: 45 ml of Tequila, 30 ml of triple sec, 30 ml of lime juice, 4-5 strawberries, ice
Put all the ingredients in the blender and as last one the ice, that you have kept in the freezer until the last second. Blend for 15 seconds at supersonic speed and fill the frozen cocktail cups, those of the Daiquiri. Garnish with a strawberry on the edge.
BLUE MARGARITA
WHAT YOU NEED: 3/7 tequila, 2/7 blue curacao, 2/7 lime juice, salt
Pour salt into a dish, wet the edge of your martini cup with lemon juice and turn the glass upside down to make the salt adhere to the rim. Put the Tequila, the Curaçao Blue and the lime juice with the crystalline ice in the shaker. Shake quickly and strain into the cup.
POMEGRANATE MARGARITA

WHAT YOU NEED: 60ml of pomegranate juice, 120ml of Tequila, 30ml of Triple sec, 60ml lime juice, 340g of ice, salt
In a blender mix the ice cubes, tequila, triple sec and lime juice. Turn the glasses over first in a saucer with lime juice, then pass the glasses always upside down in a saucer full of salt, pressing so that the salt adhere well. Distribute the cocktail in the ready glasses, paying attention not to affect the salt. Decorate with pomegranate grains
