Fashion is a circle, you know, but there are moments in fashion history during which a brand is the absolute leader of the hottest trends of the moment. It is this second point, just like it happened 3 years ago for Gucci, that is related to the contemporary history of Bottega Veneta.

To prove it are again It-girls and fashion muses, that on the socials this summer have posted shots where the undisputed protagonists are the super new accessories of the Venetian luxury brand. The new creative director Daniel Lee hasn’t made a secret of it when at the beginning of his assignment announced that the brand would have overcome a new era. The success of it is so great that on Instagram there’s a new account that has been hauntingly called New Bottega, in honour of the new stylistic direction of the brand. It’s the opposite of what happened to Céline, where the new creative direction of Slimane made the fans of the Phoebe Philo brand very nostalgic; to the point, they’ve created an Ig account called Old Céline. In particular what drove the fashionistas crazy are the Bottega sandals and pouches: the first with a squared toe and puffed volumes, the second with unusual shapes and amazing palettes.
