Chiara Ferragni appointed as member of the advisory committee at Camera Moda Fashion Trust

Camera Moda Fashion Trust, the non-profit organisation set up at the end of 2017 under the patronage of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) with the aim of supporting the new generation of Italian-based designers in an innovative, reliable and altruistic way, is pleased to announce the appointment of new leading figures within its committees.

In order to guarantee an even more effective support to the new generation of Made In Italy designers and creatives, Camera Moda Fashion Trust has enriched its Advisory Committee, which is in charge of outlining the guidelines of the organisation’s multiple projects, with the participation of Roberta Benaglia, CEO & Founding Partner In Style Capital SGR; Antonella Centra, Executive Vice President General Counsel, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability at Gucci, who already collaborates with CNMI on sustainability tables; and Chiara Ferragni, CEO and President TBS Crew & Chiara Ferragni Brand. The other members of the Advisory Board are Paola Arosio, Sofia Barattieri Weinstein, Constanza Cavalli Etro, Tania Fares, Umberta Gnutti Beretta, Sara Sozzani Maino, Vania Miranda, Margherita Missoni, Laudomia Pucci and Warly Tomei.

At the same time, in order to guarantee an ever more effective execution of the strategies outlined by the Advisory Committee, the Camera Moda Fashion Trust has also set up an Executive Committee, whose coordination is entrusted to Valeria Milanesi and which as of today is enriched by the contribution of Fabio Maria Damato, General Manager of TBS Crew & Chiara Ferragni Brand. The Executive Committee is also composed of Umberta Gnutti Beretta, Sara Sozzani Maino, Vania Miranda, Beatrice Rossaro and Warly Tomei.

“I am happy and enthusiastic to be part of this project that I consider of primary importance for the creation of a new generation of Made in Italy fashion talents,” comments Roberta Benaglia. “It is really interesting to get to know these young creatives and support them in their growth process.”

The Camera Moda Fashion Trust therefore faces the new challenges of the fashion scene with an even stronger team, guaranteeing programmes that enable designers to think strategically and accelerate brand growth, focusing on areas such as internationalisation, digital and multi-channel strategy, merchandising and intellectual property protection.

 

Camera Moda Fashion Trust is chaired by Trustee and President of CNMI Carlo Capasa and guided by the co-chairwomen of the Advisory Committee, Warly Tomei and Umberta Gnutti Beretta. The founders have always supported the need to protect and promote Made in Italy fashion, believing that supporting new generations of designers is a step towards sustainability and a founding value for the country’s economy.
