Rome has been the setting of the latest 48 hours of Chiara Ferragni. Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior creative director, was her special Cicerone and she took her around the Eternal City to discover its most magical and unusual places. It was for a very special occasion, the tribute to American composer Philip Glass to be held in Teatro Dell’Opera di Roma from March 29th to April 4th.
The French maison created the costumes for the “Nuit Blanche” ballet, one of the three performances performed by the dancers, taking inspirations from Christian Dior creations. Ballet has always played a special role in Dior’s aesthetic, that’s why Maria Grazia Chiuri decided to stage Spring-Summer 2019 collection as a real dance performance, working together with choreographer Sharon Eyal.
Chiara Ferragni, who wore several Dior outfits during her Roman holidays, was the special guest of the night wearing an amazing green pleated gown. Her glam artist Manuele Mameli created a makeup look which was incredibly matchy-matchy with her outfit. The event tighten the special bond between Chiara and Dior, and the “fil rouge” is represented by Maria Grazia Chiuri herself, who created for our muse the beautiful bridal dresses she wore at The Ferragnez wedding.
