Born and raised in Modena in 1962, Massimo Bottura is one of the most awarded chefs in Italy. His passion for cooking has been inherited as a child when he learned with his grandmother Ancella how to roll the dough. The inspiration behind his dishes comes from the world around him: from art and music to fast cars. Massimo has also been engaged in social work for years. in 2016 he founded the ONLUS Food For Soul which fights against food waste. Today the chef Bottura is the holder of 3 Michelin stars and his restaurant Osteria Francescana has been awarded 1st place in the ranking of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World.
