We haven’t heard so much about Robert Pattinson since the days of Twilight. The teen with a glittering skin, however, seems ready to return with great pomp as one of the most fascinating superheroes of all time: Batman. It appears that the British actor is close to signing a contract with DC to replace Ben Affleck in the role of millionaire Bruce Wayne.
From vampire to bat the pace is short, and it almost seems like there is a common thread that from Edward Cullen‘s juvenile cocoon leads him to be a less young-adult and more cinematic phenomenon. The public, however, does not really appreciate the idea of seeing him with a mask and black cloak, and a petition is already circulating on the web to prevent him from being given the role.
But we can’t help but see in him the vampire we fell in love with, or the super sexy and romantic wizard of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Since then he has come a long way, starring alongside stars such as Julienne Moore in Maps To The Stars, Emilie de Ravin in Remember Me, Reese Witherspoon in Water for Elephants, Sienna Miller and Charlie Hunnam in The Lost City of Z.
Not to mention his bond with Dior: our handsome and damned young man is in fact the face of the Parisian fashion house. To know more about Batman, we will have to wait a little longer, but in the meantime, we can remember with nostalgia and with a little heart-pounding all the most beautiful roles that have made us fall in love with him.
