The super famous Michelin Guide confirms it, announcing the stars of 2016. Besides the established certainty of Cracco’s restaurant, which manages to confirms its supremacy year after year and Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia Sadler, awarded with 2 Michelin stars, there are more good news for Milan’s gastronomy, featuring 3 exceptional new entries that received the coveted first star. They are the Ristorante Armani, the Tokuyoshi and the Seta, the restaurant located inside the Mandarin Oriental. Unfortunately, we haven’t tried them yet, but we can’t wait to do it! - Ristorante Tokuyoshi. Revisited traditional Italian cuisine mixed with ancient techniques of japanese cuisine. Chef Yoji Tokuyoshi is a true artist. (New entry)
- Ristorante Armani. A sophisticated and always current cuisine. A mix of Mediterranean tradition and great creativity of Chef Filippo Gozzoli. (New entry)
- Seta at the Mandarin Oriental. It just opened this summer and it’s already considered one of the best restaurants in town. Chef Antonio Guida offers extraordinary Italian dishes that range from seafood to meats, looking at the Far East. (New entry)
- Ristorante Innocenti Evasioni. Result of the creativity of 2 exceptional chefs, Eros Pico and Tommaso Arrigoni who offer classic and creative cuisine and the possibility of eating in a real zen garden.
- Ristorante Alice. At the helm of this restaurant only women. Viviana Varese is the Chef and Sandra Ciciriello the manager. the restaurant is located at the second floor of the Eataly building and it features a wide view overlooking the square, which will make your Mediterranean dinner unforgettable!
- Ristorante Vun at the Park Hyatt. Chef Andrea Aprea knows what he wants in his kitchen: technology, innovation and respect for Italian gastronomic tradition. These are the elements that give life to starred dishes.
- Ristorante Berton. Essentiality and elegance are the fundamental elements of the cuisine of Chef Berton. The main product of his cooking? Broth.
- Ristorante Unico. It’s location will make you lose your mind. At the 20th floor of a building with an incredible panoramic view. And if you think this is what gained it the star, you still haven’t tasted the cooking of Felice Lo Basso; with an eye for ingredients he references his Apulia origins.
- Ristorante Iyo. Japanese fusion cuisine keeping Italian traditions alive, while revisiting them with Japanese technique.
- Ristorante Joia. The ultimate vegetarian restaurant! Available also with a tasting menu, Chef Pietro Leeman’s cuisine offers biodynamic, vegan and bio dishes peculiarly prepared in an unconventional way.
- Ristorante Tano passami l’olio. Chef Gaetano Simonato, aka Tano, manages to satisfy all palates, seafood and meat lovers, with his extra virgin olive oils selection that definitely make the difference!
