The best outdoor brunches in Milan

It’s Sunday, you slept in and don’t particularly feel like cooking? Brunch is the perfect solution, especially now that weather is nicer and we can enjoy eating outdoor. Where? We have an idea: here are our favorite restaurants for a brunch en plein air!

Un posto a Milano. The large courtyard of the space created in 2012 inside the former farmhouse that became the Cascina Cuccagna, serves as an area dedicated to a nice outdoor brunch where you can eat surrounded by the perfumes of the garden.

Fonderie Milanesi. This is another old complex, this time industrial, featuring the characteristic brick walls and metal fixtures.  The style of the interiors is shabby chic but the outdoor is the highlight of this restaurant: a very nice courtyard furnished with recycled materials  where to enjoy a Sunday brunch.

TBS ♥ A piece of heaven hidden in an anonymous city courtyard that is accessible only by ringing a doorbell. To be tried, even just for a cocktail.

Deus Café. Enjoy a burger feeling in Australia: at Deus every Saturday and every Sunday you can. Besides offering great evening cocktails (with its barmen you can’t go wrong), is also the perfect spot for an American outdoor brunch with a rich International menu that includes pancakes and excellent sandwiches.

Erba Brusca. A real green oasis in the city. This is what will come to mind as soon as you’ll step in this restaurant that boasts a garden accessible to its clients who can enjoy its perfumes and savor its fruits.

Santeria. Most likely one of the trendiest spots for a Sunday brunch, features a very-tended outdoor space that recalls the Berlin atmosphere, and is characterized by the bright colored wooden chairs and tables surrounded by greenery. Another opportunity to have a great meal while enjoying a selected shopping of books or clothing.

California Bakery. Our “wildcard” for an unusual brunch: from the month of April onwards California Bakery offers the “American Pic-Nic Brunch”, a basket with all you need for a lunch sitting in the grass, including cloths and pillows.
