Dior Men Fall 2023: discover all the looks and celebrities who attended the show

At the men’s fashion show for Fall Winter 2023, designer Kim Jones, creative director of the menswear collections of the French fashion house Dior, seems to have taken a special interest in the cosmos – specifically the stars.

“My interest in ancient Egypt is about the stars and the sky. It is the fascination of the ancient world and a parallel to what we look at today, what we have inherited from our ancestors and what we are still learning from the past. It all ties in with Christian Dior and the fascination with symbols and superstitions.”

These seem to be just some of the premises of this collection that literally came to life among the pyramids of ancient Egypt, in Cairo.

The star, of all symbols, is absolutely a Dior emblem. The star is part of the maison’s tradition, taking us back to that lucky star found by Monsieur Christian Dior in the Rue Du Faubourg Saint-Honor. It was in fact this very object that convinced him that his destiny would be to found his own haute couture house guided by his deep faith in astrology.

This fashion show, packed with many guests, takes place in an incredibly magical setting. An alternation of looks that seem to live different moments of the day.

From the first light of morning to sunset, to the deepest night. Speaking of colour nuances, the grey palette seems to come to a halt with the arrival of warmer shades such as orange and yellow. Between the past, tradition and innovation, this collection teaches and tells of the link between technique and savoir-faire of a bygone era and that of today.

We really appreciated the layered fabrics, the new vision of tailoring and the new and modern language through which Kim Jones seems to want to narrate a new imagery by Dior.
