As time goes by, streaming platforms continue to expand, always offering new content to their subscribers. Netflix, it is known, is among these platforms one of the best known and offers a wide selection of original movies, TV series and documentaries. Throughout the year, every month, new unreleased releases are available to the viewer not to be missed. So Netflix never ceases to amaze us, there is always something new to watch that can entertain us during the cold January evenings.
Today we decided to put together a short list and preview of everything that will be happening on Netflix this month.
What’s coming in the first month of 2023?
In January, the streaming service is adding a large number of titles to its library, from big comebacks all the way up to new series and movies. These brand new releases include You People, the movie starring Eddie Murphy, then a new documentary on Pamela Anderson and That ’90s Show, the grand return of a hit sitcom.
Below is the complete list-and release date-of all movies and TV series coming out on Netflix in January.

1. THAT ’90S SHOW – COMING JANUARY 19.
This new Netflix series is a reboot of That ’70s Show, which chronicled the everyday life of a group of Wisconsin kids in the latter half of the 1970s. Today, the spin-off picks up the story and sets it a full 20 years after the original, in the 1990s. Among the main characters return Red and Kitty, played by Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, accompanied by a new generation of teenagers. Who knows, maybe this is their lucky role since this series, years ago, made Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher famous.
2. THE SNOW GIRL – COMING JANUARY 27.
In the plot of this film from the thriller genre – inspired by a book -, we will see during a procession in Malaga the little Amaya disappear swallowed by the crowd. So a young journalist will try to help the parents find her.
3. YOU PEOPLE – COMING JANUARY 27
Starring Eddie Murphy, Jonah Hilll, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Nia Long, this sentimental comedy directed by Kenya Barris tells the story of a couple and their families. The protagonists will grapple with the modern concept of love and all the usual family dynamics.
4. PAMELA, A LOVE STORY – COMING JANUARY 31
Pamela, A Love Story. This is everything we’ve been waiting for, an official documentary told by one of the undisputed icons of the 1990s. Pamela Anderson is more than just red costumes and Baywatch, how much will she have to tell through this authentic intimate ‘portrait’ of her?
5. CUNK ON EARTH – COMING JANUARY 31
In the series Cunk On Earth we will see Philomena Chunk (played by Diane Morgan) try to unravel the mystery of human civilization and uncover mankind’s greatest achievements-all in just five episodes. Stories of the greatest inventions of all time, such as the wheel and art masterpieces like the Mona Lisa, will be told.
